Getting here:
Dar es Salaam airport - take taxi from outside airport main exit. Here they have the fare prices clearly marked in both TSH & USD$ and they are all licenced cab drivers. It’s approximately USD$35 for a cab to Mikadi. You have to cross over from the harbour via the Kigamboni Ferry and if this is behaving you should arrive with us within 40/50 mins from the airport.
Dar es Salaam - if driving from the City head towards the harbour and South Coast. Board the Kigamboni Ferry (which takes 7 mins to cross to the other side) and then about 1km on the left hand side look out for our LARGE sign Mikadi Beach! If on foot head towards the Harbour and Kigamboni Ferry Port. Kigamboni Ferry Port is a 10 min walk from the Zanzibar Ferry Port. Another landmark nearby is The Kempinski Hotel ask anybody here if lost for the Kigamboni Ferry. Once on the other side (South Coast) you can either take a rickshaw ride for a few dollars or cab or 20 min brisk walk! We are 1km on the left hand side – you cannot miss our large sign!
